‘Lyrical content with a difference.’ Born Chevol Grant, Singer/ songwriter Indecka has been “edutaining” and uplifting individuals through his vibrant, conscious yet witty songs and performances for over a decade, displaying his versatility with outstanding and captivating performances and songs on both reggae and dancehall beats.
Indecka who started singing and performing at the age of ten, began writing poems at the age of fifteen which ultimately led to the beginning of his gripping and engrossing musical journey. Being raised in the brambly central Kingston area by his grandmother and later moved to Portmore, he learned the “old school” way of doing things, by working religiously with determination and perseverance, which is reflected in his music, sets it apart, and makes it relatable and encouraging. Making comprehensible quality music about complex issues such as poverty, love and injustice, Indecka hereafter made his recording debut with the song ‘Always be There’ which was produced by Michael ‘Jah Mikes’ Bell from Yahbell Entertainment.
